my blaster clutch basket, my friends and my spare bottom end all have about 1/6 inch of side to side play is this ok? found it wierd its on 3 motors

1/6 of an inch? It's either 1/8, 1/16 or thousands. are you talking gear lash, gear to basket (cushions), or plates to basket? More info needed!
I'm taking a guess that it's the clutch basket to gear cushion play you're talking about. I know the manual states the specs of what it should be but don't remember off hand. But yes you should have some.
you shouldnt have play, but its fine my blaster had some but it was bad so i had to replace it with a billet basket, but my shee has some and still runs great.
From factory specs if you have more than 1mm play you are supposed to replace. you have 1/16 inch play which is .062 and factory spec is 1 mm or .039 which is very minimal difference or half a mm over factory spec.
