Well, was out ridin' and noticed these nice little hole shots have removed any clearance I once had. Nice lower center of gravity, but any set of ruts is ride stopper. Anybody have good thoughts on this? Since most of the quads out there are bigger, wider axles and what not won't help. Seems like for trails one needs bigger rubber??

I do XC racing and I go 22" on the rear and 23" on front to give me as much ground clearance as possible. I need to tweak the gearing a little bit to compensate, but haven't had the $$$$ lately for new sprockets. This setup seems to give me pretty good clearance in those ruts you talked about, but it is a Blaster, so I still get hung up on ruts every once in a while, LOL!

do like a 14 to 42 get rit up their no problem thats what im doing i have stock tires in the front and 20 in the back the 18 are to small

I just put my old Raptor hubs and wheels on the Blaster. It took some low end away so I will be getting a 1 tooth smaller front.

I have some 18 holeshots to, they really suck for trails. I would keep getting stuck on the ruts on the trails. Through on my 20 inch razrs, problem solved. 18's are only good for the track.
