Im putting a new motor on my blaster and i dont know how to get the chain off. any help is appreciated!

if you look at the chain links you will find one link has a keeper on it just take the keeper or clip off and pull that link out it is called the master link.
when you put your new engine on just put the link back in,all adjustment on the chain is done on the rear axle carrier.

Actually......if it is the original chain, it might not have a master link. i just had to cut one off my 94 the other day. It was kinda loose. lol Of course, I was replacing it at the time. just loosening should allow you to slip it off the sprocket.
