I have an 01 blaster with a + 4 swing arm i'm having a problem with the stock lower stud on the frame from a old roller hitting the chain . A standard roller will not work. I'm running the TM design chain guide on the lower swing arm and a TM design chain guide for the top of the swing arm off the (engine) primary gear for the chain. I'm considering a spring loaded chain tensioner on bottom keeping the chain off that stud. I don't want to eliminate the stud in fear of tearing the shifter out of the case if the chain ever came off. Any other clever options that anyone has engineered. Thanks for any Ideas or Pics.

I have a +4 swinger also and I don't have an issue. I also changed all of the rollers to ball bearing ones. If I am understating you correctly than there is no roller on the bottom and the stud is just sticking out ? If so than you can cut the stud off and do a ball bearing roller with a bolt going through it. Cut the stud off flush and tap it for the bolt that the will go through.

Also if you have concern of the chain coming off/breaking as many do or should be. There are case savers you can buy.

Edit; ^^^^ beat me to it.. The link above is what you need. Look into the case saver also, you can find them here and only here >> 860-230-5003
