CFM Airbox

i have one an have zero complaints the welds look good it looks realy well made some of the mounts were a lil off but it was an easy fix

Ya mines kick ass, small fitments issues but they were easily fixed like foolish said. Also, I offered him 75 and he took it.

You made an offer for 75 bucks? There's not make offer button. Did you message him and make the offer?

To the replies about fitment issues:
How are the fitment issues fixed? What do you have to do?

Also, do you guys run it with the lid on?

I got mine with the filter and different boot for the carb for $60. I welded a reinforcement plate in the corner of my frame and drilled a hole for a mount on one side (came out really nice). And the other side the hole didnt line up, so if i put it on like that the carb boot wouldnt reach. So i made a new hole and used rubber bushings on the bolts. Also theirs no need to run with the lid off they get a ton of airflow to begin with.

Oh wtf? he changed his listing to a BIN only... ther used to be a make offer button
And mine was just that it needed a little coaxing to line up at the carb end and the mounting bolts. Nothing major at all. And my lid is off

i got one and love it i think its even better then a clamp on filter. if you dont feel like welding and doing a ton of fab work, i just used 2 1/2in or 3/4in conduit mounts drilled 4 new holes in the box got 2 1 inch spacers or so and just bolted the clamps around the 2 frame tubes in the rear that are angled. it worked great and no welding of other fabbing needed...besides cutting the rear plastics. I say go for it get one.

i'm luv'in mine as well, and it didnt come with any mounting hardware, so i just made 4- 3" x 1" wide aluminum tabs, bolted them where the 4 rear plastics bolts on, bent them over where needed and self tapping screwed them to the box, then undid the bolts and laid my rear plastics on and rebolted thru both
if ya look close in this pic, you can see the little brackets coming out from under the plastics and bending down along the outside of the box, 2 on the back panel, and 1 on each side toward the front, seems very secure...............
