I bought an 03 blaster for cheap money and put a hole from the crank case into the gearbox on the first ride. I've just about got the engine torn down and now I need to know what the best quick fix for a beater is. I don't see the point in spending lots of money getting the case fixed for a bike that I'm going to beat on for a couple of seasons till I have the space to store something better.

Well, that Blaster is still running, making over 30 HP for the past 5 years.
Not bad for a cheap backyard patch...
