Case cover cleaning ?

I was wondering what you guys use to clean the case covers (inside) before you but them back on?
I usually just use carb cleaner but was wondering if there is something better.

i just use carb cleaner then wipe it out with a lint free rag

brake clean, carb cleaner, Ether (Starting Fluid), superclean (mix with 25% water)

Ok cool I just wanted to make sure the carb cleaner wouldnt eat at the seals.
