ok so my 2000 blaster was working fine until one day i went to crank it and it wouldnt start so... i was told by a mechanic that it wasnt getting fuel so i cleaned the carb. now there is no tension on the throttle and i did everything exactly like in the DIY section. it IS getting spark.
i donot know how many turns for the a/f screw or where it is. i dont know what is going on please help!

when u pulled the cartb apart and u pulled the tors off did u put the slide sping back on?.. i think its 1 1/2 turns out is stock on the air screw.. .your float may be sticking or needed ajusting..

i had that with my blaster. what happened was there is a groove in the carb that the slide is susposed to line up with. If you dont have the groove lined up with the notch on the slide then the throttle cable will stick and not work.

lol yeah
so. it didnt crank. it sounds like its sucking for air, maybe a leak or something?
maybe cracked reeds? i dont know...

update: it started with starting fluid. when i revved it it cut off. is there another way for it not to get fuel besides the carb being dirty?

is the tors conected mine did the same thing it will run as long as you dont hit the gas unhook the wires to the tors an the one from the thumb throttle thats all i had to do an mine is also a 2000

yea check the TORS or, there may be another place where the carb isnt getting gas. have you pulled the fuel line off of the carb and seeing if the carb is getting gas?

yeah, i removed the TORS today. yes i checked to make sure the carb was getting gas. i dont know what it could be.
also, i can get it to start maybe 1 out of 30 kicks. but it will not stay running.
