what would be a good upgrade from the stock carb for all around use like trails sandpit that type of thing and around how much would it cost used or new

28 or 30mm keihin carb, price varies on ebay, no idea new

i run a 30 mill flat slide mikuni and it runs way good on my bike i would also have to agree with blaster dude14 28-30mill unless u are running a 240 kit them u will wanna go to like a 34 mill carb..

If you have a 240 kit I would suggest a 34mm carb. The smaller size will speed up the air and give you better throttle response. That would be best for trail riding when your on and off the throttle all the time. Bigger carbs for WOT all the time ridding (dunes, drags, etc...).

if i understand what your saying, a good carb for a stock setup with a toomey would be a 28mm, the stock carb would even work with the right jetting but if you wanted to upgrade the next size up would be a 28mm
