ok heres the story i just put my new toomey pipe on and im running the 310 jet they recommend and my prob is after i let my quad sit and idle for about 15 seconds it dies right out but its starts right back up first kick any ideas or should i not worry about it and just run it lol

did you just change the main jet or the pilot two? i had a similar problem one time and it ended up being all i needed to do was go down 1 size on my pilot jet. normally your main jet wouldnt effect your idle. your pilot and idle air screw do that. what size were you running before

probably rich on the pilot..
you shouldnt be sitting at idle for more then 15 seconds anyway hit the gas..lol

a quad needs to idle,how is it gonna warm up?unless you want to keep the throttle on it until it warm

idk maybe you should ajust ur idle screw, i dont know much about carbs.

id just run it... i let the engine warm up in liek first gear i dont go all out on it then after liek 2-3 min u can rip it

i'd try adjusting the airscrew, or maybe your idle is just a little too low. let it idle till it dies out like that then pull the plug and see if it's rich or lean. if it's lean, screw the airscrew in a little. rich, vise versa.
