CARB Questions

i have a 30 mm pj carb on my stock blaster that has been rebuilt and it has an fmf phatty and silencer on it. its not bored out or nothing, i got the bike with the carb on it.

30mm on a stock bike kinda stupid right? it runs ok but when i get on it on the lower end it bogs a little not really a sputter but more of a power robbing kinda thing will lowering or higher the pilot jet help ? its also 30 - 35 F where i live right now to do i need a bigger pilot jet or smaller one? help much appreciated thanks alot.

Well if you dont like the 30mm I trade you my stocker for it LOL.

What are you jetts at now.

lol my jets are pilot is a 65 i forget what my main is my main is good though i think the problem is my ppilot jet

You can run the 30mm with no problems and its good to have for future mods. I think the stock 26mm is to small to begin with.

I think the pilot is big. I know a stock carb has a 32.5 pilot.

I would try the smaller one first and you are changing it check your main jet.

i checked my plug and it was running rich so i droped the main from 138 to 135 the pilot is a 65 should i drop it one size?
