Carb Question

I've searched and found some great posts on how to clean the carb on my project Blaster. I'm stuck and can't find any info on how to access the jet under the main. That is I'm assuming there is a jet under there that I needs attention. It is the area I've identified in the pic. Is it threaded? thanks

thats the needle jet, it is not threaded and taps up thru into the carb throat, and has holes that should be cleaned
the brass washer under the main jet is what holds it down into place as the main jet threads into it

All clean, putting it back together. Does the throttle body, slide thingy (cylinder) that gets screwed onto the carb need any type of lubrication?

I have personally never put anything on the slide or cap threads.

Thanks, just seems like the slide would benefit by some sort of lubrication, but then again, probably would collect grime and clog the carb.

Wash the slide with premix, do not put any other lubrication on it, make sure it is perfectly clean before inserting.
