hey guys how can i get the carb cover to stay closed it keeps poping up (thread worn out+ air leak ) by tomorrow as some guy is coming to look at it ???its held on with a cable tie atm lol thanks !

it comes stock with metal retainer that is held tight by a screw in the side of the carb. you could make something if you are handy. it is just L shaped with some teeth cut in the part that contacts the cap to catch the nubs on the cap and the screw goes into the left side of the carb as it sits on the quad and holds the metal piece tight to the cap.

i want something he wont notice i'd keep the cable ties on if i tought he wouldnt notice lol he seems to know his stuff about bikes

you sir have just lost any respect i have for you, misrepresenting what you have to just try to peddle it to someone unsuspecting is about as dishonest as it comes.

its fixes and rigging sh*t up like this that gives blasters, and blaster owners, a bad name and giving the bikes a bad rep for being sh*tty, unreliable bikes, and why so many people come in here with blown up sh*t.

it's a really sh*tty thing to do is what i'm trying to say. just remember, karma is a f*cking biotch and when that thing blows up because you sold it as running great trying to hide it, and that guy comes back to your door pissed off, i hope you don't get too f*cked up.

that's to keep it from rotating on there, he's talking about stripped threads and trying to find a way to rig it together to make it someone else's problem.

things are differeny over there , i bought a honda gokart a week later bang (no gasket ) , a 110cc buggy driving along one day bang wheel snaps off and send me into a ditch, the guy i bought it off had welded the stub as a cheap move to sell it (broken wrist) a mini moto when i was driving along one day the bike snaped in two he had welded the frame ........

oh. i thought the threads were just a little worn and it kept backing off............... correction to my previouse statement. Douche bag move! tell the dude and knock a few bucks off the price so he can buy a new one dick. so why the hell would you do to someone else the crappy stuff that happened to you.

so that automatically makes it ok to be a douche bag and do the same thing? is there nothing in your conscience that says that you should be better than that? come on man.

i'm done, think about how pissed you were when you got stuff that wasn't how it was supposed to be, and you're about to do it to someone else.

Let me ask you some stuff.
1. How mad were you when you that stuff broke on you?
2. Did you think it was fair that they broke on you?
3. If you dont have money to fix it, you better save up, or tell the guy
4. I dont give 2 sh*ts were you are located, if something is broke, you dont rig it up to work semi, you make it work to its potential state
5. You should be kicked in the balls.
