The valves probably need adjusted. Try some starting fluid first though. That's why I like 2 strokes, no valves!

Just start with the easy stuff bro. You said it was just rebuilt by your mech. so I would check for fuel first.
well I came home and shot a couple shots of starting fluid in the intake of the carb and still nothing I was wondering if i shot some starting fluid in the actuall intake of the motor if this would matter just to see if mabee the carb is the actuall problem dont know if maybe the jets are clogged or sumthin from it sitting just wondering whats your input on this is
try spraying the starting fluid in the spark plug hole If it gives you something there then I would move onto the carb. It might be a dirty carb.

ive got a fourtrax 250 an it was doin tht same thing an the porblam was tht the low oil light
was not conected
