can't get balance shaft bearing out!

I'm hoping someone can help me out. How do I remove the balance shaft bearing from the case? The bearing is so bad it has scraped the case, I don't think it has ruined the case, but I don't know. Any help would be appreciated.

the case does have a notch in it so the counterbalancer can spin...but i do see some gouges in the notch area tho...i dont think that bearing is bad

i have a case with this bearing shot.... i think the best bet would be to hook it and tug it out

I tried to hook it, but the bearing is pressed in good. It definitely is bad.

Take A Propane torch and heat the area around the bearing , try not to touch the actual bearing with flame , but warm the area and try the pull method , It should help some !

If you remove the stator plate you can see the outside of the are that bearing is pressed into. That is a interference fit on that bearing so it WILL require heat to remove it.
