can u use a stock head pipe and aftermarket silencer

ya you can use a FMF power core 2 silencer, or a turbine core 2 silencer. its not going to effect performance at all, and its gonna sound almost just like stock. the pipe is what gives 2 strokes that tinny sounds we all love.
i though it was the opposite way around?? i though the silencer made the sound difference and the pipe made all the power..cuz thats the way it is with 4-pokes
I'm putting a Pro circuit silencer on mine just for the hell of it,....and I hate looking at my lame stock silencer too....
nope. the pipe makes the power and the sound. my wife has a stock pipe, and a FMF Turbine Core 2 silencer on her blaster and it sounds just like mine did with the sotck pipe and silencer.
its a bit of both the pipe makes the power and the sound but the silencer does change the sound a bit.
im running a stock pipe with a answer spark arrestor/ silencer.. sounds good to me!! .. at the end of the vid you can hear it good once im up by the camera.. did notice a little change in mid range power
