So like in my introduction thread, i just got this wheeler for good deal from buddy. Since i just finished my sportbike build, im gonna start ordering everything i want and need for the wheeler. Been doing a little research, and looking around and got good idea with what i want to do to it. Just need some info on what and wont work.

Will newer year blaster front disk brakes fit right onto my bike?

How much longer is Banshee axle than blaster?

Which shocks (front / rear) are direct bolt in and a good upgrade from the blasters?

Who on here does best swingarm extensions?

Can i use blaster carrier with a banshee axle?

Whats most popular sprocket tooth set up?

yes the blaster disc brake set up will bolt right onto the a arms

I think the banshee is 3" longer

I prefer the honda 450r shock. but 400ex works and some others for the rear. front onloy banshee shocks bolt right up. a slight improvment over blaster shox.

strokedtater does a really nice extention

14/40 is probably the most popular gearing

i thought the ball joints were different on older blasters with the pinch bolt? didnt norman420 do spindles conversions for a while?

only 88/89's used the pinch bolt bottom ball joints

and norman420 is no longer, everything to do the spindle conversions now resides in my garage, coutesy of norman himself, he's out.
the stuff is going to oconnors in 2 weeks to see what he thinks of taking this over ???
if not, i will hunt for a local machinist to mill the spindles, and hopefully, one way or another, continue normans spindle legacy

damn when did this happen? did he say why?

Appreciate the info. Now what years banshee axle and front shocks am I looking for? Also what yr 450r rear shock?

any banshee axle there all the same, depending on what year your blaster is you will need the banshees rear disc hub. i use a ltz400 shock there pretty sick aswell may get one cheaper. there still fully adjustable

89-90 suzuki lt250s shocks fit, front and back. youll need some washers or spacers, thats it. the rear has a res theyre a huge upgrade from stock. also i run a 84-86 honda showa rear shock. they came on 200x/350x/250r(82-84)/trx250r, it lowers it out 3-4 inches though, but has 4 setting on the strut and a adujstable spring setup, with res.

i run 14/38 for sprockets, gives me a little more top end than stock with out sacrificing too much torque.

strokedtater does very nice extensions. my buddy has a asr 3+swinger w/roundhousing, its held up great so far, good quality. you can always find a welding/fab shop to do a swinger, i have a custom tubular swinger. or weld your own, i did

Thanks again for all info. Really appreciate it. Gonna do some more research and start ordering parts. If anyone on here has any of the parts mentioned above, send me a PM! I only do Paypal though.
