cable for 400ex throttle

I scored a 400ex cable to my door for 20 bucks but I cant seem to get the cable adjusted right and the cable does not snap shut like the spring is not working??? I had a twist throttle on there is the twist cable longer? and even if the cable is different shouldn't it still slam shut like it did with the twist

so do you have a twist throttle? a thumb throttle from a 400ex or the stock blaster thumb throttle? The 400ex cable adjuster is different than the yamaha cable and it won't ever work with the Yamaha Thumb Throttle . If you are using the standard Yamaha Thumb Throttle , but you have deleted the TORS , you simply need a Motion Pro TORS delete Thumb Throttle Cable . If you have the 400ex thumb throttle then the cable would work for you just fine . and depending on the brand of twist throttle ( probably a motion pro , and twist throttles on a quad is just asking for bodily damage ) they will have their own cable that is just a bit longer than the thumb version.

I had a twist throttle, it came with the quad, and you are right it does cause bodily harm i have like 1 hour on that throttle and between me and my friend we have crashed a total of 7 times lol

I bought the 400ex thumb but it will not work with the twist throttle cable.


what cable do I need?
and will the new cable create the tension that snaps the throttle shut because right now it doesnt
