I found a 2000 Blaster online for sale for $300. It was bought in a storage auction and the guy knows nothing about it besides it turns over. The picture he posted showed it being in what looked like pretty good condition (no obvious broken parts, minimal rust). Is it worth the buy? I have never owned a blaster or a four wheeler at all but always wanted a little toy.

Thanks.

Looks like a good deal to me.
I see at least an aftermarket pipe, which is $150-300+ alone.

Be sure to stop back for advice before running it, if you buy it.

Bought it! Compression was way low and piston/piston rings were scored. Any recommendations for a top end kit for it?

NO KIT NO KIT DO NOT BUY A KIT DO NOT!!!!!!

you can do 2 things:

1: go to a local, REPUTABLE, machine shop that has experience with 2 stroke motors. Have them measure the bore and figure out what piston you need to buy. get his price, buy the next size piston and have him bore it.

2. send you cylinder to Ken, he will bore and put the correct size piston you need.
