Broken reeds

yes the reeds stop air and fuel from coming back out of the engine when its pushing compression so the answer is yes. if they are broken change them immediately. not run it all day today and tomorrow then get some change them then run it

yes! i had a broken reed in my recenty bought blaster and it would start but if i tried to give it gas it would die unless i gave it gas really slow. good running motor needs good reeds, its what makes these 2 strokes work.

yeap... i didnt have mine under load though just sitting there and hit the throttle and it would want to die however it could be a jetting issue unless it just started doing it out of nowhere. wouldnt take but a few mins to check...

yah i couldn't figure out why it was running so bad so i checked my reeds and one fine was gone dont know where it went but i know its not in the motor

can only hope what are good reeds to get? i am thinking v-force my blaster is bored with full pro curcit exhaust
