:-/before i go and put the new one on i would like to know why it broke in the first place i took it apart and found that the was a conical spring washer missing it was just the thin washer so i ordered new washers is this what happened it was running then a clunk and i pulled the cover spun the clutch basket by hand and poof in 2 pieces out came the small gear everything other than that looks good any info is greatly appreciated

I dont know what caused it to break but i would like to know too because i fixed one awhile ago that did the same thing. everything inside looked great it just broke that little gear too and thats is.
no, you know how on your clutch basket it has the big ring gear around it and the a smaller gear. well its that smaller one on the back of the clutch basket...atleast the one i fixed was and sounds like his too
yes did you do anything special when you fixed it or did you just put it back togather also will it run with out it i have 6 wheeler have no prob pop starting it
i just emailed abunch of ebay sellers and some guy said he had one that he will sell for 16 bucks so i guess i just saved a lot of cash
