I just got the rest of the parts I need to rebuild the top end and replace my reeds. :D Once its done and I've done a leakdown test and there are no leaks what do I do first. :-/

Break in, or plug chops so I dont run it lean?

It seems if I do the plug chops first I could harm the top end because it hasnt been broken in and I have to hit full throttle in 6th. But if I dont do the plug chops first, I could be running lean durring the break in.

Please help. I dont want to rebuild again for a while and it would really suck to fry the top end again.

Thanks in advance. :D

what carb/settings and mods you running ????,
and a main jet shouldn't have anything to do with the break-in heat cycles, that require no more than some light half throttle revs every 30 seconds or so till fully warmed up, then allow to totally cool, repeat 5 times, retorque/recheck head and base bolts,
then grip it and rip it for plug chops

I got new rings, gaskets, vforce reeds, and a powercore 2 silencer. I dont know what jet is in it but I'm planning on using a 280. Does that sound right?
