ok so I have an 04 blaster which has the hydro set up. I bought a pair of pre 03 ims pegs. Im just wondering if someone has any advice on how to make these work. Im thinking of cutting the rear brake part of the 04 peg off where the brake lever pivots and welding it to the pre 03 peg and just grinding off the original old lever mount. Am I making sense? its kinda hard to explain...ill try to get pictures up soon to give everyone a better idea...im jus wondering if theres an easier was to make these work....

I would not cut or grind on the ims pegs. Best pegs for a blaster. imo I would think about getting an 88-02 brake pedal and just weld a small extension on the back side of that. Should solve all your problems.

Got it welded up, well the best I could with my uncles crappy stick welder. I just cut my 04 lever and used the center section for the extention, fit perfectly. I also ground out a notch to make the lever sit a higher above my nerf nets. Thanks again for the help Dualstroke!

on my brake pedal, I took a piece of flat stoc, drilled a 7/8 hole in it. it fit over the round tube on the pedal perfectly. bent the flat stock to go around the frame and cut it to length. before I welded it, I could rotate it to fit the master cylinder in the correct location than tacked the piece in place. than I welded a full bead around the pedal. pretty easy.
