Brake issues

The brake issue I am having is.....I have no brakes!!! Rear calliper locked up on me. I have read that it is common to have rear brake problems on the older Blasters. Is there a hydro. brake from another atv or bike that will cross over to a 1996 Blaster, or should I just rebuild the mechanical stock brake? I'm trying to rebuild this Blaster for as little cash as possible, any advise will be helpful.

i would look on ebay for a used working one (cheap) and swap it out.
you can get a hydro conversion kit... but... $$$$$
besides 70% of your stopping power is in the front anyway. i am not saying get rid of your back brake! but, i'm not going to spend much money on mine.
