Reeds should have no chips,and should sit pretty flat on the cage.

If i was you i'd go with carbon. Stronger in most cases,and i hear they are a lot more noticeable than the fiber ones.

yea this is true, i bought the best reeds boyessan has minus the rad valve and not much of a difference, actully i cant even tell because i threw my pipe on at the same time.
theres a member on here that has a set of v forces for 75 bux

I put on the dual-stage power reeds (not carbon fiber, nylon I think) and was happy with the increase in low end power. I didn't really notice a top end improvement but there could have been one.
