bought some beadlocks

well i got some beadlocks off ebay douglass wheels with champion beadlocks anybody else run these and do u like em?

im probably goona sell it in stock form and keep my aftermarket stuff that i have bought and build the yz motor on the spare frame i have or thats the plan. i wont get close back to what ive invested so im gonna keep some of it...yeah im gonna have the rings pc'd green and polish the hell out of the wheels or have them pc'd black

just an FYI champion is one of the biggest names in offroad and drag racing for doing beadlock conversions. its good stuff

what exactly are beadlock rims

basically what happens is the outside (sometimes the inside as well) outermost part of the wheel is cut off, then a special ring is welded on, the bead of the tire sits between that ring, and another that is bolted to the outside. this is done to keep the tire from spinning on the wheel

well that's a given lol. i need to get some cool rims for the front of mine...beadlocks on the rear and stockers on the front....
