is this something I need to really look at or not the whole bottom end and gaskets were replaced by my dealer in the picture there is a little oil on the case I havent seen any puddles under it yet just tell me what you guys
That's really close to the seam of the actual crankcase, id leak test that thing immediately, if its ok, an its just a small seep from seem at tranny id run it till your riding season is done then split cases an lap an reseal them.
It is the seam is there a gasket there? The dealer rebuilt the bottom end. I might see if they can repair it if not is it hard to do it myself? Don't have much money right now
this is exactly where mine is leaking. Isnt there a seal between this and the crankcase. Both would have to be leaking to cause problems for the engine wouldn't they? All the money I have spent on the top end, I don't want to have to do it again. Is there some kind of sealant that can be put on this if it passes a leak test that will hold the tranny oil?
I bought a harbor freight leak down tester. It goes to the spark plug hole though. I guess that will still work, just need to block the intake and exhaust?
