guess i should of asked in my last thread but oh well.
i was looking at wisco bottom end bearing are those a good choice?as you can see i dont have much experiance in buying good parts but thats why i joined this forum to get good info on buying good parts.i dont want to spend a pile of money to have it blow up in my face.lol

from what ive heard people have had trouble with weisco bottom end stuff... all balls seem to be the way to go... havent personally used either but thats the general consensus ive come up with

been a few probs with weisco cranks lately. what kind of rebuild you doin? if it is just a topend refresh you won't need any bearings. if you are splitting the cases and you have a stock crank you should probably send it to ken with your jug to have him make sure it is in good shape. and the all balls bearings are good from what i hear.

im planing doing it all.like i said in my last thread the piston ring pin broke off and scored the top end and im pretty sure it ended up in the bottom end.that all balls is that a sort of brand?im not sure id want to google that.lmao

ebay it. like i said send your crank to ken too to get it trued. might as well if you are taking it out. yes all balls is a brand

yup i found it on ebay.i might try and do the bottom end myself to save a few bucks for other parts ill need.i already ordered the complete gasket set.thinking about getting a hotrods conecting rod with the new crank

the only reason i haven't suggested the stroker bc that is a whole new can of worms. stroker crank requires these mods to get the power from it. ported for the stoker new carb new exhaust. around 1500 bucks by the time it is all said and done, just in parts. read my sig. that is what you need to do a 3mil stroker crank

and you need the cases trenched for the +4 the +3 is definitely cheaper and more of a bolt on crank but the +4 has better throttle response more power and more reliable

yeah antec. ken will usually request you send the crank to him so he can check it. he did mine for free but he said mine was good already. but worth the check bc who wants to install a crank that starts off out of specs. you could always just buy a hotrod rod and send it to ken with your old crank and have him put it on and true it. not much cheaper than a new crank though

you can do that too. but how much do you learn about your motor doin that? if you buy the tools you need to work on the bottom end you will have them forever. if you have ken do it all you will just be ridin a machine you know hardly anything about and when it breaks you have to send it out again. I don't want to be "that guy"

thats true.i would like to be rippin around and when people ask who rebuilt that.id like to say ME.lol
but still get ken to do the head of course and true the crank and stuff.thats what ill do I:I
