boring vs. cc

look at wisecos page it tells each bore how much cc's it will have. I would only bore to fix piston or bore problems, and only do the minimum over. Boring to the max .090 will only add 14cc not very much. Not worth it for power IMO because if something breaks you wont have the thickness to bore over next time and might need a new sleeve or cylinder.

there are only 2 things that add displacment increasing the bore or the stroke

i new it didnt add alot im just trying to prove my dad wrong he said that my quad qas a 230cc because it was bored to 50 over i said there is no way it could add 30cc

actually, wouldnt having the head shaved actually remove cc's? because its making the combustion chamber smaller...?

it is smaller because its giving more compression by moving the head closer to the piston, thus giving a smaller combustion chamber

read this again ,it doesnt matter how much the head is cut down or how long the connceting rod is or how much porting is done how thick the spacers are or on nitrous or methanol etc..there are only 2 ways to increase displacment :adding to the bore and/or adding to the stroke

It only removes cc's from the combustion chamber. This only gives you a higher compression ratio. This does not effect the cc's of the engine. The engine cc's are a measurement of displacement. as in how much volume is displaced when the piston is at top dead center v.s. bottom dead center
engine cc's = bore x stroke
