boring out a stock intake boot

i was wondering if anyone has ever done this , my friend has a 34mm kehin carb and a stock intake boot , i told him to buy one off of ebay and he said he was going to bore out his stock one with a dremmell. does anyone know if this will work?

Yea it is possible but watch how far you go because its pretty flimsy rubber.

yeah i thought it might be possible, but it seems like it would be hard to keep perfectly round so no air leaks

even if its not perfectly round u tighten the clamp on it thats gonna make it air tight.

just gotta worry about thickness of rubber... i dont know the minimum it can be but meh...
