how you doin fellas on the blaster forumI:I i was in the trails on saturday in p.a ,and my friend was on my blaster extended swingarm new paint job new 400ex shock looks really agressive ...well my queation is ,he was doing donuts on my blaster in the street which is ok but i noticed he was red lining my poor blaster to death and it winded up bogging out .the kick start dosent kick its seized, does anyone no if its the piston thats blown up somone help please i wanna get it running before sat. so i can hit the trails again pm me asap

Well by doing continuous donuts on the street the engine doesn't have the air passing by it to cool it off. Sounds like you seized it. Can you pull the top end off? Let's hope it's just top end and not including the bottom but you will never know until you take top end off and inspect everything.. after it sat for a while it was still seized?? A number of things could have happend and must likely did. Pull the top end.. plan for atleast a piston and rings and hone. See if you can get your friends to chip in on some labor or parts or both... take some pics in the process..

we had so much fun i told him i would fix it .im almost certain it is the top end , cause after it sat for a while it cooled off and i was able to move the kick start and the noise is from the top end.im a mechanic and pretty aware of the ups and downs of the atv so i will be fixing it myself and alson honing if need be ,so i will def. have piks or vids up soon . can you give me pointers on how to post piks on the forum.... kinda new to this computer stuff hahahaha

no i have no mods done to it i plan to just keep it stock and create a blaster that looks like a beast , and is only a beast in the trails ,and soso on the straight aways hahaha.

hahahahahaha this guy should have scars on his lips hahahaha it would make me feel better.it kinda bogged out this was mabe a halfhour after the donuts we were in the middle of the trails so i had to pull him back to the trailer with my kfx450r smh .I:I B) hahahaha

Which is it, when was it.

I would be suspecting something else if it locked up half an hour after it was donutted.

Maybe a fuel problem or an air leak.

yeah we went back into the trails after being on the road for that display of being a idiot and we parked at the lake side for 5 min started back up and bogged out the it wouldnt kick anymore so we towed it back too the trailer

If it is still oil injected and the oil tank is low, centrifugal forces could have created an air lock in the injection system as the oil may have migrated away from the pick up.

it has oil block off i premix my gas .... for every gallon i put 4oz of oil. the guy at the atv shop i go to said that is rite .
