Blaster wont start

So we are working on a blaster we checked reeds fine gaskets fine spark very good (trust me i touched it hahah) good compression it will start and then die what else could it be

carb issue...an engine only needs 3 things to run...spark fuel and compression. people tend to over complicate things, ESPECIALLY when it comes to single cylinder two strokes...no cam or anything...make sure the carb is functioning ok

is the TORS unit still hooked on top of the carb?

Have you done a leak down test?

no its not on the carb ill clean the carb when i get the chance

we changed carbs now it runs like no tomorrow

blast that old carb with compressed air once you have stripped and washed it thouroughly
