Hey guys I got an 04 blaster that runs on premix which is amsoil dominator and premium now. Before that it was sitting unused for the first 3 years from the owner before the guy I got it from had it. It's in great shape after doing all my own stuff to it and what not. I added new VF3's and a 260 main jet from a 230. It already has FMF Fatty pipes and a turbinecore2 on it, like I said stock carb with a 260 main 32.5 pilot. Since I cleaned out the carb so you could eat off of it, with all new lines and O-ring inside. Since I added the reads it's been down hill I cant even get it to start WOT when before I dident even have to. I re-checked the reeds none are loose broken or anything wrong with em. Comp is consistantly 140+ mabey 3 or 4 PSI higher, done 3 times in a row. I used 3 plugs 2 were NGK B8ES and the one that was in it when it ran fine and was a NGK BR8ES. I dont wanna take it to a shop have it be something simple and pay the guy $40 bucks an hour. Also I can get my hands on an OHlm/volt meter but I'm no rocket scientist with one and dought it's the electrical anyway. Thanks guys

Yep it has spark on all 3 plugs I can get those 270-290 easily I live less than 2 miles from a shop that has them. It was at 230main when I got it lol. Are you confident that's it cause I had a few mechanics say between 250 and 270. I can get them no problem if your shure I dont wanna take my carb apart another 10 times second guessing myself with the 250,260 I had.....

last did it ran did it pop at all? i had same issue with a 93 blaster recently ended up being a piston ring gave out scored my piston...whats the fuel ratio ur uses also?

Either loading up on fuel or even try to adjust your air screw to at least get it up and running then you can adjust from there.

I'll keep that in mind, that's what my dad usally does. How many turns in or out it's, 1 and a half out from all the way in right now.

No it did not pop at all, just couldent rev it cause of the then loose throttle cable but it's tight and responsive now. 32:1 amsoil dominator on premium mixed up like a gallon or 2 a coupple months ago. It just sputters like it wants to start but dosent and goes pusssht and a small bit of white smoke puffs out the back.
Stupid question what's the tool called that you use to plug chop with? I cant for the life of me remember what's it called, so I can look at the plug when I re-jet it.

make sure your stator is clean and free of corrosion.
when i had my blaster it sat for about a month and it looked like it had good spark but it wouldnt run untill i cleaned the stator

If it started and ran fine before you cleaned the carb and put in new reeds you might want to re-check those two areas. Maybe the reed cage gasket is leaking air.

Is the plug wet or dry when you pull it out? if it is wet you may have a gut full of fuel, and need to kick it lots with the plug out and the throttle closed.

If it is dry, you may need to do a leak down test to see if it is sucking air somewhere.

Is there any gas leaking from the carb?

Dry except a very small drop or so of oil on the tip of the prong/electrode. Not leaking per say to the naked eye it seams like "moisture" (I dont know what it is) on the sides but not front or back. But when it accumalites it smells a bit like fuel when I wipe my hand on it. I figured it smelled like that cause I had it off and apart so many times...When I take it off and crack the throttle more than a few times. There is a few drops worth of gas inside the intake boot like a cup.
