I’m 14 and I recently bought a 1988 Yamaha blaster. It ran good, a little beat up, but the oil drain plug was stripped out and started dripping oil. I was a little worried about it so I fixed it and put the right amount of oil in it and then it started smoking white smoke. So my uncle said it needed a new seal and collar so we replaced those. And we put it back together and still the same problem and it dies on it own and when dies it immediately stops rotating and sounds like it seizes but it’s not seized. What could the problem or problems be? The people that I bought it from said that it had a new crank and top end. It appears they used gasket maker/sealant and a lot of it even in between the main cases.

it could be leaking inside the cases between crank area and trans area :(

The case half's are sealed with Yamabond or Threebond (gasket maker).
Surprised a leak down test wasn't suggested. It may help finding the leak. If you do it with the clutch cover off and spray area around crank seal and collar with soapy water, it will tell you if that's leaking, or something else. Awk sells the testers pretty cheap.
