blaster vs yz250f

hey everyone talking about banshees my buddy has a 03 yz250f i went for a swat yesterday i think the blaster is dam quick so we lined them up boom 1 2 3 4 5 gear i was side by side until he went for 5 gear then he would take off he said that one of the fastest blaster he has seen FOR STOCK EVERYTHING and his bike hits 85mph i would love to run a banshee doesnt matter about performance like my buddy said it the rider and how you go through your gears and if you know your bike he said it felt like he was racin a 400ex thats my next race to eat a 400ex i know i can do it im not a hot shot or anything iv been ridin sport quads for 9 years my buddy says i ride like a pro i don't think so im good but safe at ridin to RACIN QUADS IS FUNNN

In the bike VS quad match the bike will always win.

Its lighter, faster and has a more powerful (advanced) motor

Hell a yz85 will give a blaster a run for the money

I actually think a yz85 WILL beat a blaster. for the same bike vs. quad reason.

a yz85 i doubt that if im staying with a 250 4 stroke a yz85 would be miles behind my blaster hits about 70mph that was a car with me i don't know dam thing is fast it been bord not sure if thats why its so fast for aceleration till i do the gears pipes and carb my plans are to get it going about close to 90/100mph if i can and ya if i race a banshee i will video it that would be kick assI:I

no actually ure wrong they it would beat it expesizlly cause its stock u can have the best rider on a blaster and some one with same skills sept on the yz85 and the yz would win

don't think so ask a yamaha dealer he said a stock blaster will do 60mph for sure mine has been bord i had an overseas quad before i hade my blaster it was a 200 4 stroke when i raced my buddys yz250f 3rd gear he would fly by me wasn't like that when i raced the blaster he said the same thing it has to be greater than 60mph that overseas quad i did some work on piped jetted and sprocket on front it went 63mph wasn't the best when i got it 75kmh so ya you can see how much i put on that overseas when i jump on the blaster three times a quick i phoned the guy i bought the blaster from today he said he put a hinson performance clutch and a high performance crank with the wisco pro lite that i not lieing about so its really not stock my bad maybe thats why it goes like snot not sure

ok, your friends YZ250f is not going 85mph, stop being a hillbilly. A YZ450f doesnt even go that fast from the factory. And stop acting like putting clutch kits on and a high performance crank(hot rods probly, just a OEM replacement maybe a little lighter) will make it go faster or something, and if his 250f is worth anything your blaster wouldnt even come close, unless he is a 300lb fatass

for all we know the crank could be a +4stroker and no one would ever in there right mind would put that much cash into a clutch and basket unless the motor was putting out some decent hp we dont have all the facts yet so we cant assume.

Heres the deal, when you put all those "mods" on your bike it doesnt make you bike that much "faster" the only thing it is doing is making your bike get to that speed quicker. You may add a bit of top speed but overall, your not adding much at all. Your making your quicker when you the the 240, P&P and all that good stuff. yea, you can make your quad increase top speed slightly by changing tire sizes and sprokets but overall your only going to gain minimal MPH.

hey im not lieing idont know iv never did cranks and clutches most iv did to a quads just gearing,piped,jetted never did cranks or clutch they have always been good to me the guy i bought it from said he put all aftermarket parts in the engine so i don't no what that would do and ya my buddys bike is no joke its a motocross bike he has it done for top end so no problem 85MPH alright im not a guy to stay in one place like a pit or something.i travel all over ontario with 4 other riders we love to travel see cool things meet other riders its so cool.sometimes i will go to the track those doubles are fun to jump what would it do if i piped it would i fell much different than before sweet talking to you guy you know alot thanks my buddy has a 400ex wants to runner with my blaster that day i will be pumped i will video it to even if i get beat talk after
