hi guys. i Just got my Blaster back together finally after getting the project in pieces. i started it up and if vibrates every couple seconds,i know your going to ask but yes i did put the counter balancer in correctly and put motor mounts in correctly

Anything else it could be??? its not that bad just dont prefer it....

balancer in correctly means the "dots are aligned" ?????

how bout floats sticking slightly, allowing it to run low on fuel every few seconds ???

/\/\ second thing that came to mind ????

yes dots are aligned and had the carb apart twice and cleaned twice
its kinda confusing me why

i'm still leaning towards a fuel issue, especially if the vibrations are at evenly spaced
intervals while at idle, like every 10-20-30 seconds
i too had a stock carb apart numerous times chasing a bogging, completely rebuilt it including new float valve, same thing
finally found grooves wore into the "posts" of the carb body, near the pin where the float tang rides against and would cause it to hang up each cycle of up and down movement, running it low on fuel
filed the grooves down smooth and solved the problem

just a thought

Came across a similar problem when after revving the motor at standstill and coming back to idle. Thing would start to vibrate, increase in speed, increase in vibration, and then rev out of control.

Turned out to be a combination of a small crack in the carby boot and someone had forgotten to fit the slosh baffle around the main jet.

My guess is the fuel was being sloshed around in the float bowl so much and and was picking up air and atomising the fuel. The float too would have had a hard time regulating the flow of fuel. The crack in the boot with the motor vibrating so, was causing a fluctuating lean/rich mixture.

Changed the boot, fitted slosh baffle. Problem solved but gave me a headache for a while.

Mine vibrated when i had a bad coil wire. I not every few seconds but a nice constant vibe. It made my hands go numb when only riding for prob 30 mins. Ever since i changed the coil i havent had that problem. The wire was dry rotted,

im annoyed about this but i have to remind myself this is No 4 stroke and will vibrate some. im possibly selling it tonight so that guy can figure it out since i cant. lol ive run out of ideas...
