Hi I recently bought a 2005 Blaster with FMF fatty gold series pipe, power core 2 silencer, Boyesen reed valves and Twin Air air filter for R10 000(rand). So i took it on its 1st ride with the tank almost full and after about 30 km of riding I had to switch it to reserve :o . And nothing is leaking.

Is that normal for it to use so much fuel with those mods? Pls help.

You should get way more than that, even jetted rich! Are you sure that it's not leaking from the vent while your riding. I'd pull the carb off clean it up, check the float level. and report back.

seems wayy to much,,.... my 01 when it was stock i could get about 6 hours of riding out of a tank, and about 5 hours after i went to the fmf pipe and no lid

my 89 with no lid k&n and lrd pipe was 4.5 hours..

my lt250r will drink a tank in a hour to hour and a half, but thats riding the wheels off it, id guess id get about 10 miles to a tank

Ok thanks for the help people . . .Before my ride 2day i cleaned out my air filter coz it was looking realy dirty and . . . . . problem solved ! But the filter was looking dirty again when i got home so looks like ill have to clean it after every ride.
