im 6"2 and 230 and i think the blaster is to small for me. i can only come up with small sums of money at a time so i was looking for a way to put as many blaster parts as i can onto a bigger frame or trying to lengthen the frame. any ideas.

well id get the diamond j customs a arm widening kit and get a banshee rear axle or get the gforce axle theat would take care of some of the size probelms and can easilly be done for $400 if not less

bar risers and an extended swing arm would be good to. Also i noticed that when you shave the front fenders it feels like you have alot more leg room.

yeah grab yourself an extended swing arm, and look into a banshee or warrior steering stem, both are longer then the blaster steering stem and will make it more comfortable for you. and the diamond j widening kit will def. help with stability issues! all relatively cheap parts.

I am 6-2 230 and i purchased the following
-a +4 in swingarm off ebay $200
-a +6 in gforce axle off rockymountainatv.com $200
-+ 4 in front spacers off ebay $60 plus/minus

These made a word of difference in the appearance of my bike

I'm still looking into shock replacements though

Im a tall guy also...lets see some pics of your bike. I was thinking about getting the longer swingarm off ebay. I turned my front rims inside out and that helped some. Other then that I think its just a little short so the swing arm should help.

you can try the steering stem if you want but i did and ended spending $30 for nothing it didnt fit, and yes it was a banshee steering stem. i think that mod is a year specific thing. your better off just buying the bar riser kit from rocky mountain it'll give you a multitude of bar raising heights and it was only $20+s/h, just my two cents

Ur ass must be huge : p, by brother about 135pounds 6"0 and my friend 254 pounds and 6"2 sat on a blaster and even though he was almost off the seat he sat fine and the blaster at least went 28mph going up our driveway

i did blasterfreek30's double clamp riser mod. and i'm also runnin bars from a 400ex that i got from my buddy for free and it's pretty damn comfy!
i'm not a big guy, but i always had a harder time on the rough trails than all my buddies cuz the blaster's chassis is so sh*tty. i flipped my fronts, did the banshee front shocks, 400ex rear shock and some rear wheel spacers on top of 3/5 offset wheels w/ 10" tires and now she's much more stable!

as has been repeatedly stated, riser/bars and +3 or better swingarm. these 2 things will add length to the cockpit, allowing you to stretch out more and keep your knees from hitting the bars. another thing that might help you would be a set of nerfs with extended footpegs.
