Blaster spitting/not idleing/hard starts

I bought this blaster off my freind who had it running fine then one day he said it started idling real high and he put it away. It runs but now when u let off the gas itl spit and die out, Also have to use the choke to start half the time .The oil injection is still there, i put new reeds in it, and ideas?

Do a compression test to see if you screwed the motor then do a leak down test. You have an air leak somewhere and that's why it runs like crap. Running on choke is a sign its running lean.

When is the last time the Carb and air filter been cleaned?

Clean carb, oil air filter and leak test. Might want to check reeds too while you got carb off

Do not start it again until it has been leak tested.
