Hey guys just got my blaster motor back in and it's running lean spark plug is a really dark gray

you're looking for the color of the smoke ring near the base of the porcelien, not the tip.

Well did another and have no bottom ring again I don't know what to do

what mods, carb, and what main jet are you using ?
did you hold it wide open for 20+ seconds

follow the DIY exactly and hold 5/6th gear wide open for at least 20 seconds, apply a little front brake if needed to help load the engine
