okay, so i have a 2000 yamaha blaster. when i start the bike it will run and idle fine. but when i give it any amount of throttle it will start to die out until i release the throttle. i have played with the mixture screws but it didnt make any difference. anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?

so i unpluggeed the TORS and it was running good. i was going down the street. pulled in the clutch to coast. and it imidiately reved extremely high. had to turn the key cause the kill switch didnt work for some reason.

Did you also unhook the electrical connector for the tors?

I recently removed my tors on my 89, my bike still didn't run right so I had to get the tors removal kit ( cable, cap, air screw ) from motion pro. I don't if thats yr issue but maybe something to look into.

reving high and kill switch doesn't kill it, it's running lean and is dieseling. just stab the throttle will kill it when holding the kill button. You might wanna check ur float level, or you ran low on fuel. other possibility is ur throttle cable is binding and holding the throttle farther open than normal if you were turning.
