My quad has a brand new top end 280 jet full fmf pipes. When I let it idle it idles way to high I mess with the idle screw and I barley turn it an it dies out. Also it revs high when I pull in the clutch and shirft what could be wrong

First check that the throttle cable is routed correctly. Check the the carb slide is not sticking. If that all checks out good, do leak down test.

and then check the air seals next to tge crankshaft look what mine did on a brand new topend

Empty tank of gas can do so as well. Make sure the carb cap is tight loose can do it too. Check throttle cable make sure its not stuck. Most likely its a leak do a leak down would be best idea. Slickerthanyou makes leak down tester.

Do you mean the idle screw, or the air screw?

Is the air screw 1 1/2 turns out?

Did you do a leak down test before you tried to start it?
