if you have a shee rear end then the cable brake wont work you need hydro's..you have a fixed rotor set up and the carrier is diffrent..

thats what i was afraid of.Sounds like i got fuked on the deal then but thats what i get for not knowing first. How hard or expensive is it to do this? Also what would i need? Thanks for the reply

first id make sure you have a shee carrier and not the 03+ carrier.
also you will need to either weld a tab on your pedal or get an 03+ pedal and weld a tab to mount the master cylinder.

just wait a few for someone that can tell 100% what carrier you have.. as far as i know the shee carrier wouldnt work so my guess is its a 03+ carrier. either way you would need an +03 brake pedal or weld a tab on as well as weld a tab on to mount the master cylinder.

here is a pic not sure if this will help?

ok i will check back tomm. thanks for your help im so pissed right now cuz its really hard to haul a$$ when you dont have any brakes but i only paid 800 bux for this atv and it is bored out to a 250 and it does just nicely for me for what i use it for which is just riding with my son but i really need to be able to stop LOL i gotta get up at 4:30 am for work so GN and thanks again.

rear brakes are a very common problem on blasters i bought my gf's with no rear brake's at all.. no pedal cable nothing. lol
you got a real good deal for 800 dont feel ripped at all..
you will get the brakes right soon enough.
so the ? remains anyone know what carrier he has.. lol

That is an 88-02 carrier. You can use that caliper still just need some longer bolts and some washers to space it out. There are alot of variables.Get us some more pics of by the brake pedal and I can tell you for sure.

what cable did you buy?
id use a "shorty" rear brake cable it eliminates the parking brake, runs straight from the pedal to the caliper and they work alot better then the parking brake cable

also my front brakes SUCK!!! and i tried adjusting them and nothing works and they also have new pads its like i pull the handle all the way in and it barely stops.. So could it be that i need new cables? thanks again for all u guys help..with this site ill have all these problems fixed in no time lol thats if the wife doesnt throw me out first for spending money on this thing lol
