blaster/raptor swap

well my friend has a 06 raptor he grenaded and i mean bad..cracked case in 5 places rod and valvetrain shot through the bottom lol.. i think he missed a gear lol..

anyway hes wanting something for his son.. im thinking blaster engine!!

will it bolt up?
i know ill have to yank the rad and other 4-poke crap off.. but is there anything else i need to worry about?

i dont think there is rad on a rappy 250, just an oil cooler ???

the swingarm bolt thru the back of the motor looks ok, the other motor mounts arent, they'll need reworked

but prolly a simpler swap than most

not a whole lot of mod needed, not like a yz 250 motor, lol but u will need to reset some of the mounts for the motor, take some measurements etc..

prolly gonna be tougher, looks like the swinger pivot bolt sits higher ???
i see fins on the head/cylinder
which = air cooled, only an oil cooler to deal with
same thing as a 250,

sound possible, the rappy/warrior 350 engines are huge, should fit like nuthin, just rework the mounts a little

So what ever happened to this project? It sounds like a good idea & I'm curious to see the end results. Since this thread died I'm assuming it never happened
