Here is a vid of the blaster/raptor class at Dadde City mx from this past Saturday. 24x gets the moto 1 holeshot but gets ran down by more experienced rider. However it was his first holeshot this season and it was a huge confidence builder. Watch for the single to table jump.

thanks man. I have a feeling he will be running for the championship next year. He should lock up 3rd place at next race I think. Not too bad for first year ever riding a clutch against kids who have been for a year or more longer. The kid throwing whips on the blue raptor is actually a 450 class rider who is 17 I think. He is just "testing" a backup quad for another kid in the class.

Did ya notice the only 2 blasters in the class, coming out 1,2 in moto 1? Gotta love it!

Great vid.I love seeing the youngins tearing it up on a blaster.Seems like he is adjusting very well to the clutch.Nice job guys!!!

Good lookin vid and holeshot....so let me get this right, they race raptors (all engine sizes)?

raptor 250 / blaster 200
the class can be a raptor 250 engine not more than 250cc
and a blaster engine not more than 200cc
No hybrid motors(crf250, kxf250, yzf250, rmf250) in the 4stroke must be stock type raptor engine but any mods are allowed in both classes as long as cc limits are abided by.

Colbys gettin better all the time.. next year should be fun

thank you Ken. It took a while after the big crash with Hunter but I think he is close to getting past it. I know it really messed with his head. He still wont hit that big step up if ya noticed and not many of the kids who were there that night will either.

Ok, I was curious what the deal was there ... If you know where to find it though even without BBK the blaster is a faster quad, too expensive IMO to build a raptor 250 compared to what could be done with a blaster for the same. That sounds like it would be a fun class to race

trust me you would be very surprised what a rappy 250 is capable of these days. There is not much more that can be done to ours and stay at 200cc. There is a couple of rappys that we cant touch. On a long track it would be more competitive but a supercross track the 4stroke pulls harder from corner to corner and the rider can make more mistakes as they are more forgiving. A blaster rider has to stay in the powerband constantly where a rappy can start at low revs and pull to the top. I believe my son will be a better rider when we jump to the 4stroke because of it though.
