Blaster Raffle Idea

Ok I kinda lifted this idea from banshee hq but here it goes what say everyone that wishes donates whatever parts they can spare from a blaster
and the person building (im open to ideas here) gathers all the parts donated and builds a franken blaster then after its done raffle tickets are sold for say 5-10 dollars each and those who donate parts get one ticket per part donated (such as a set of a arms would be one ticket) then the cash made from the raffle can be used for shipping the quad to its new owner or if the new owner is close to the builder it can be used to support the site. or it can be ebayed and the proceeds go to the site?
anyone interested in this idea? also i think all parts donated should be etched with the blaster forum logo.

I am sure it would work.....probly take a bit of time to gather the parts and what not but i think it would definitely work then we would either have to find the most trustworthy person on the board to do the raffle, or ebay it and donate to teh site, or donate the quad to the most worthy charity that could use it (I dont know fire or flood victim??) if donated do it in the name of blaster forum and have all participating members sign the bill of sale. and maybe the part they donated? I dont know I just feel we could be putting our spare parts to a better use than cluttering our valuable work spaces
I know for a fact i have air scoops, a stock bumper, a slimline tail light,a stocker head light and maybe some front shocks and clutch cable ummm maybe other stuff i dont know.

i say all your double parts get ebayed so you have some cash to buy the parts like motor that wont be donated.

I like the idea of double parts being auctioned but id like to find a motor then auction double parts and pay for shipping the motor. i just have to dig around because motors are tought to find real cheap lol

yea you gotta figure your gonna get alot of the common parts and a few of the not so common ones plus people that wanna donate a swing arm or whatever are not going to want to pay the shipping for it so the double parts would help pay for those as well.. just need a banker, a builder, and a good site with helpful people..

ill donate my stock swinger, just replaced all the bearings and stuff, free of charge I:I if we get all the parts there needs to be pictures/ video taken of this event.. and I think we should do the member raffle..because im sure the people that donate the more expensive parts ( motor, stator, clutch, etc) are going to want maybe a little more than just 1 ticket.. if you catch my drift..

I think that should be one of the stipulations...It has to go to a member if its raffled here on the site and not just someone who heard of the raffle and joined because of said raffle, but i really think this could be great i mean its gonna take sacrifices but i'll sacrifice some cash to ship parts off for it, i mean in the long run someone is going to get a ridable blaster out of the deal and our names will be forever attached to that by means of this boardI:I

as far as finding a site with helpful people i think youll find no better site for that than blaster forum. but yeah if shipping is a problem im sure we can over come that problem one way or another right? after all we are evolved intelligent people.

yea this would be sweet to do this and i think u should get more tickets for the harder to get items ya kno like write it all down and stuff what gets what like a swinger would get one and fenders like 2 moter like 3

yeah thats a great idea like say a motor running or not would be worth 10-15 tickets a frame around the same? i like it
