I have some questions about my 2006 blaster. 1: What do I have to do to take the oil injection off? 2: Will raptor 250r shocks fit? 3: What up grade should I get next? I already have an FMF Fatty pipe and Powercore 2 silencer, Boyesen power reeds, No parking brake, Kenda klaw 20x11x8 rear tires, and the air box lid has six 1/2" holes and the snorkel was removed. 4: Does any 1 know how much horsepower a blaster has? Thanks for the help. :)

For the oil block off, get he kit off of eBay to do it rite. 400ex rear shock on back with O'Conner bushings and Banshee front shocks work real nice. Stock Blaster has around 17-20 HP depending what review you read.

For power, there's many ways to go. High flow filter, a redesigned head, VF3 reeds, changing the front sproket. It depends on the money you want to spend and the ridding you do.

Thanks. :) I do fast trail riding. I already have Boyesen power reeds so I don't feel like geting VF3 reeds (I wanted to, but just didn't want to spend $150+ dollers on reeds. So I got the Boyesen reeds). Btw my blaster was stock when I got it.

imo... v force reeds are a big improvement from boysens with stock cage. i have ridden both and v force ftw. but if you go with v force... MAKE SURE YOU USE LOCKTITE. i cant stress that enough. and send your top end to ken oconnor for some porting. it will wake your blaster up. i give you my word. ask anyone. my word is golden

Me and my dad have the tools to port it our selves. Does any 1 have a thread on porting it your self? And why are banshee front shocks better then the stock blaster front shocks? They look the same to me. :-/

Btw, I'm 14 so I don't have a job and it takes me some time get $$$. (Thats why I want to save money any way I can).

Banshee shocks have a progressive spring and maybe valved a lil better but either way the are an improvement. Ken has a couple videos up on how to do some minor port work but unless you really know what you are doing I would send it to a reputable builder and get it done right or you risk doing more harm than good.
