Hey guys,

I have a 2007 blaster, and it has a huge problem, Whenever it goes to very top end mainly in 1st 2nd and 3rd, it acts like it misfires on top end, doesn't matter where I have the throttle, as soon as it tries to rev high it coughs and misfires, cant get it to rev out? Anybody had this problem?

This is what Ive changed,

- Cleaned air filter
- Changed Plug
- Changed Fuel
- Changed Oil
- Cleaned Carb

Normally pretty good at problem solving, but this has got me stumped

agree with both of them ! I had the same problem ! Also check plug and your stator it is possible you not getting enough fire , Unlikely but still something to check out ! The manual has a detailed section on checking the electrical system

yep ! there are ALOT of things ! just rule out all of them & don't overlook the simple things like the peck weiner could have a small piece of trash in it and not getting enough fuel to open it up but enough to run at lower rpms

Hey guys, The problem was it was running to rich, Had to change from a 300jet to a 280jet and now its Going awesome.

Weird because I had an 01 blaster with exactly the same mods, and that needed a 310 jet, Yet my new 06 blaster wont rev on anything past a 280 jet CRAZYYYYYY! Anyone comment on this?

im having similar issues with mine. went home to vt for a eekend and rode all day , then after being back at base camp for awhile desided to hit the track and then it started acting up, but only at the higher rpms. so i tryed taking the airbox lid off thinking it was too rich and it didnt really make any difference.

It could be because of the different yr carbs from a 01-06.
