ok so over the summer we went atv trail riding. I had my 92 blaster filled to amount ( i dont remember what it is now but i think its like 650 ml) of 10w-30 wet clutch oil. we were riding all day on trails ( about top of 3rd to 4) speeds and then when we got closer to town there were open gravel roads. so we are riding consten speed at around 45mph in 6th and all the suddin i cant shift at all. My bike was stuck in 6th gear. so could i have over heated the tranny oil? then after that happen we let it sit for 10minites and we started to ride again ( still stuck in 6th had to ride the clutch bad just to take off) ( i felt the engine bottom end and it was roasting hot even the plastic covers) so we get into town and we eat and about 30min later after sitting it could shift again...... so what im wondering is why would it do that? i get that we were riding ALL DAY and blastys only have less then a quart of oil but ??? when i got home i drained the oil and it looked good still...
