Ok so I have a 98 blaster that i just recently got bored .30 and redone. But when I went to tune the carb I had back firing and finaly go it away by my friend tuning the carb by adjusting the main jet down and tune the small jet too. But on the second run with it I lost all top end power and wont rev up into the power band. I was thinking that I blew the reeds. Any one else thinking of anything else that we could of done?

Did you do a leakdown test after your rebuild? you should not have to change your jets after a bore and piston replacement. nothing has really changed. I would guess you have an airleak is why it wasn't running right. either that or maybe your plug gap is way off.
